The staff and service were top-notch, matching the level of a 5-star hotel. The location provided easy access to all the desirable locations in the region. The restaurant downstairs, "Villa Bacco," was an excellent example of an authentic Italian restaurant. The room had a simple yet elegant decor and was impeccably clean, with great attention to detail. Families will find the hotel accommodating.
We felt most welcome and had no complaints at all.

Quirky thirties building with nice design updates
Sited, in effect, on a roundabout, so incedibly noisy unless all the windows and shutters are closed when the double glazing works. Price v high for what you got -- but location (near St Tropez) probably the cause.

The room we had was very nice, the bathroom well sized, our wishes were immediatley fullfilled, the staff was very friendly, well behaved and very outcoming and helpful in giving advice about the region and sights to visit. We always had fresh towels and neat beds.To feel comfortable, there was nothing to miss. The restaurant has wonderful food and the wine is fine. To have a real good coffe, take one in the morning, it is excellent. The location is absouletley perfect to easily reach all the wonderful places surrounding St. Tropez, even beaches are near by.We felt perfect and at home.

The receptionist was incredibly kind and despite the language barrier, we had no issues communicating. The breakfast was hands down the best we've had during our trip to France. The check-in process was efficient and convenient with the text message instructions. The hotel was flexible and accommodated our unexpected extended stay. The room was cozy and warm, perfect for the chilly weather. The bathrooms had a fun and quirky design. The owner was friendly and helpful. The hotel's location allowed us to easily explore the charming village on foot, with its shops, restaurants, and streams. We even had the chance to visit a small farmers market before leaving. The staff and service were top-notch, matching the level of a 5-star hotel. Plus, the hotel was ideally situated for easy access to all the must-see spots in the region. We also tried the Italian restaurant downstairs, "Villa Bacco," and it exceeded our expectations. The room's décor was elegantly simple, and cleanliness was impeccable with great attention to detail. I cannot wait to stay here again!

Room was clean and the motel (because that's what it is) is in a good location.
Caveat emptor. Upon checking in the owner was reluctant to accept the Booked.net price we had reserved with. All of the common areas of the hotel reak of cigarette smoke. Internet "wasn't working that day (from what I could see he just doesn't let guests use it notwithstanding his advertisement)," the television "wasn't working but I'll call the technician" (at 9;30pm on a Friday...of course he was never going to call and no one showed up). The a/c wasn't working in the 2nd room he tried to move us into b/c of the broken television. Don't go by the pictures. It doesn't look like that in real life.

The value for our money at La Rotonde was excellent, with clean and comfortable rooms. The hotel's location in the village made it easy for us to explore on foot, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing a level of service that rivaled a 5-star hotel.
Breakfast delights would have been even better with more variety.

Friendly staff. Good location for trips with a car. Liked the bathroom.
Location is more or less on a round-about. La rotonde. The windows and balconydoors need to be repaired. They did not close/ work 100%. Still it was safe. The floor was not really clean.

The fact that we could get a room at all. Free parking across the street.
Room was very small. The walls are paper thin, so it is very noisy both from inside the hotel and outside traffic. No shower gel, kleenex, hairdryer, etc..

An Unexpected Farmers Market
Our stay at the hotel was just what we needed for an overnight visit. The room was basic but it had everything we required and it was clean and comfortable. The owner was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to assist us. The best part was discovering the charming village right outside the hotel. We were able to easily explore the shops, enjoy delicious meals at local restaurants, and even stumble upon a small farmers market the next morning before we departed. I would highly recommend this hotel for its location and friendly atmosphere.

The attached restaurant was excellent and open late into the evening when other places were closed.
There is usually nobody on reception. The room was very small and tight. No toiletries apart from ultra cheap shampoo. Towels were worn and old. There was no window in the bathroom. The only window in the bedroom was small and overlooked a balcony where the staff walked by and could look directly into the bedroom. The curtains were cheap plastic things. No fridge. Limited space for belongings. Dark room, pathetic side lights. All in all a below average experience. It's located on a road junction. Only consider as a last resort.
